Customized Handmade bookmarker
A bookmark made as a gift for a writer. The aim of this piece was to represent the magic of reading, how important stories are for human beings. I also tried to portray the physical characteristics of the person receiving the gift, in the simplified style.
"Stories inspire people, people inspire stories." - by me.
The main idea was just to make an illustration, but to make it to relate to books I decided to turn it into a bookmark with a ribbon at the top. For the painting, I used watercolor, colored pencils and Posca white pen on 200mg/² paper.
